Pay close attention to this because it directly and indirectly affects your health and that of your family (and, indeed, everyone in the world): Do you know what EBM (\u201cEvidence-Based Medicine\u201d) is? In other words, the idea is good in theory! A Medicine that has as its fundamental pillar that only what has \u201cgood\u201d scientific studies, \u201crecognized as adequate\u201d behind it, should be practiced in Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, in practice, it seems that most \u201cscientific evidence\u201d is compromised by the interference of those who, in essence, live off the existence of the disorders and diseases themselves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(or simply search for \u201cdisease industry\u201d on Google and \u201chave fun\u201d reading the more than 5,000,000 results... Or at least the first ones!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In practical terms, if EBM is based on \u201cscientific evidence\u201d BUT this is mostly unreliable, then EBM (a good idea, in theory) itself becomes unreliable, doesn't it? And some may say that nothing in humanity is totally reliable and that radicalism is therefore not welcome in condemning EBM, but let's think: if most of the basis of something is compromised, what practical support does this \u201csomething\u201d have?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, all this is just for you to think about... to reflect carefully and exercise your critical judgment about what to listen to from now on in health...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suggest that we strengthen PBM (\u201cPatient-Based Medicine\u201d): a medicine that has as its fundamental pillar that only what has \u201cgood\u201d effects on patients, \u201cknown to be appropriate\u201d behind it, should be practiced in medicine. After all, for example, I have hundreds of patients who get much better (and quickly) from colds when they drink lemon tea with garlic, but I can't remember where the scientific study is that \u201cproves\u201d this...<\/p>\n\n\n\n
