{"id":3732,"date":"2015-07-21T12:58:25","date_gmt":"2015-07-21T12:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icaro.med.br\/?p=3732"},"modified":"2025-06-27T03:52:44","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T06:52:44","slug":"tip-from-icaro-minute-of-common-sense","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icaro.med.br\/en\/tip-from-icaro-minute-of-common-sense\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00cdcaro's tip: The Good Sense Minute"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><strong>A minute of your common sense, please:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, several months after their last appointment with me, patients send me an email (or an Inbox, WhatsApp... even though I've made it clear that these contact methods are only for emergencies...) asking if they can or should repeat their last appointment with me. <strong>prescriptions<\/strong> without \u201cthe need for re-evaluation in the doctor's office\u201d and, if so, what should be maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Answer: NO!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justification: The supplements and\/or medicines that were indicated for you were prescribed based on your moment in life, your complaints, your clinical history at the time, your complementary exams and a maximum recommended time to evaluate or check the results of the proposed treatment - all this so that in a new evaluation, depending on the effects in your case, the conduct can be reviewed and what is no longer necessary removed, what may need to be changed and even substances that new exams, symptoms and conditions indicate are necessary added.
