{"id":4320,"date":"2016-03-08T19:59:10","date_gmt":"2016-03-08T19:59:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icaro.med.br\/?p=4320"},"modified":"2025-06-30T03:06:07","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T06:06:07","slug":"bioidentical-hormones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icaro.med.br\/en\/bioidentical-hormones\/","title":{"rendered":"Bioidentical Hormones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Understand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you've bought two locks of the same brand, the same model, and you install them on two doors, side by side... mysteriously, the key for one of them is missing. <strong>does not run<\/strong>, If you try to \u201cforce\u201d it, it won't open the lock of the other, even though both keys are extremely similar (especially for the layman, the \u201cnon-key expert\u201d). And if you try to \"force\" it, you'll end up spoiling the lock!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With hormones, it's the same: the receptors are specific, and the fit of each hormone to its receptor affects its action on that particular cell (where it is acting). If the molecule that fits into the receptor is only \u201csimilar\u201d to the corresponding hormone, but not the same, the fit is defective, and the effects of that molecule will naturally and logically be different!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is that clear?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That's why, when necessary, I only prescribe bioidentical hormones.
