{"id":4477,"date":"2016-05-26T18:34:14","date_gmt":"2016-05-26T21:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icaro.med.br\/?p=4477"},"modified":"2025-06-25T15:22:50","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T18:22:50","slug":"gluten-poison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icaro.med.br\/en\/gluten-poison\/","title":{"rendered":"A poison called gluten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just look at the negative impact that a \u201cstudy\u201d with biased conclusions can have, misinterpreted by those who read it, or interpreted in a way that serves \u201cshady\u201d interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, a \u201cstudy\u201d came out that \u201cconcluded\u201d that non-celiac children on gluten-free diets could be at risk because they increase their consumption of fats and \u201ccalories\u201d (carbohydrates). This is true if parents overload them with these nutrients or if they are misguided by nutritionists or doctors who indicate this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, many people eliminate gluten from their diet, but end up overdoing it by consuming a lot of carbohydrate-rich flours (and an excess of simple carbohydrates is very harmful, inflammatory and \u201cfattening\u201d). But who says this is \u201cmandatory\u201d? Everyone has to look for quality methods, substitutes, information and professionals, as there are countless other healthy and tasty options for those who want to eliminate this poison called gluten from their daily diet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><strong>Why poison? Understand: <a href=\"http:\/\/icaro.med.br\/gluten-alergia-ou-sensibilidade\/\">http:\/\/icaro.med.br\/gluten-alergia-ou-sensibilidade\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What's more, most gluten-containing foods are laced with simple carbohydrates. So why demonize only gluten-free foods?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another point: if you know that something has a high chance of harming your child (proven by hundreds of studies - read the link above!), who depends on you for their choices and future, would you continue to offer it to them again and again?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding fats, do you really believe that, with the exception of trans fats (recognized as harmful and already banned in several countries), they are enemies of our health? Rethink your concepts: <a href=\"https:\/\/icaro.med.br\/?s=gordura\">https:\/\/icaro.med.br\/?s=gordura<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One final reminder: whatever way you eat, food is only one part (a very important part, of course) of something much bigger and fundamental to health: your Lifestyle Habits (find out about these here: <a href=\"https:\/\/icaro.med.br\/15habitos\/\">https:\/\/icaro.med.br\/15habitos\/<\/a>). In other words, you can't \u201ccompensate\u201d for a bad diet just by improving your other habits, and fats are usually only \u201cdangerous\u201d if they are oxidized, which happens in many diseases and in people with bad lifestyle habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Final message: children tend to live better with less (or no) gluten in their lives - get informed, experiment and you'll see. If your child has any symptoms or illnesses that don't improve with conventional treatments, optimize their lifestyle and remove gluten, and see how much healthier they will become...
