Australian authorities warn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA class of asthma medication has health authorities worried. It has been linked to episodes of depression and even suicidal thoughts in children. These are medicines based on montelukast sodium, a common compound used to treat rhinitis, asthma and atopic dermatitis, especially in children and adolescents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The substance montelukast is better known in Brazil as Singulair, Montelair or Piemont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My opinion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from urgent or emergency situations, whenever possible, avoid chronic, unnecessary and\/or abusive use of medication as much as possible. After all, have you noticed how more and more reports are coming out about their adverse effects? And have you noticed that, curiously, the industry itself rarely goes public with any negative effects \u201cdiscovered\u201d about its products? This hurts profits and can even lead to major losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may need less medication than you think, if you do your part properly (and are guided through the process, preferably).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
