Vitamin D optimizes the absorption of calcium in the blood, but in order for it to be directed to the right places, the action of vitamin K2 is necessary; otherwise, there may be inadequate deposition of calcium, even increasing the chances of \u2018stones\u2019 forming in the kidneys and gallbladder.
