Detox (detox) works, yes - and should be done by all of us regularly!
My patients already know all this, but I'll make it clear to you:
1 - Nowadays, our lives are becoming more and more “toxic”, either because of excesses in the most diverse areas (stress, electromagnetic, ...), or because of toxins in the air, water, food, etc. In other words, the more toxins in our bodies, the more we have to worry about favoring and strengthening our organic measures to get rid of them constantly!
2 - Every real detox process begins with adopting and maintaining healthier lifestyle habits, as much as possible. After all, they are the basis for the proper functioning of all the systems in our body, including metabolization and excretion - understand: https://icaro.med.br/15habitos/
3 - For those who already have good lifestyle habits, the addition of certain foods and supplements does, with sufficient scientific evidence, show many benefits - after all, it's clear that anything that reduces inflammation and oxidative stress in the body (in addition to the total load of toxins entering, of course) makes life easier for the body when it comes to neutralizing and eliminating toxins, also at a cellular level; also anything that allows the 5 main detoxifying/eliminating systems to function better: intestines (feces/bile), kidneys (urine), skin (perspiration), lungs (breathing) and lymphatic circulation.
4 - Respecting all this, I usually give my patients a basic green juice recipe that contains water (or coconut water) + apple + ginger + dark green leaf + fruit (I prefer pineapple or lemon) and encourage them to start their routine of improving their lifestyle habits and this juice until their nutritionists take over their diets with due attention to the particularities of each person - the idea here is that “every process has to have a beginning” and, then undergo the necessary improvements (after all, what doesn't start has no way of moving forward, does it?).
5 - “Good foods” don't have to be eaten all at once, like a green juice or a vitamin that looks, smells and tastes strange (these are just more practical ways of doing it): if consumed throughout the day, in the context of meals, they usually maintain their benefits!
So, to help you detoxify:
This is an article from the Healthy Holistic Living website about ’10 Foods That Take Incredible Care of Your Liver and Weight’.

Ideally, your detox process should always be recommended and monitored by at least one doctor and a trusted nutritionist, as each person needs different detox measures.
** It's not because Detox procedure Y didn't work for person X that it can't be useful for a lot of people Z out there, or even an important differentiator in health!
*** Suggestion for the more critical: Every time you criticize an idea (or try to), suggest what should go in its place with benefits for those who would use that idea - Doing good involves teaching the right thing! Here's a tip.
