Regarding HCG as an aid to healthy weight loss, the following is indisputable and widely scientifically proven:
The safe use of HCG in this way is usually effective: http://icaro.med.br/?s=hcg.
* In short, only for patients with good lifestyle habits and minimal basic hormonal balance.
The well-executed use of HCG is not only safe, but also safer (and often more effective) than the use of Femproporex, Amfepramone, Diethylpropion, Mazindol, other amphetamine derivatives and sibutramine - a fact that has been amply proven in the texts linked above.
HCG basically works by 6 mechanisms:
- Reduced appetite.
- Reduction in the breakdown of proteins by the body (protein catabolism).
- Increased use of fats as the main source of energy.
- Rebalancing the rates and action of various hormones.
- Action similar to that of various hormones at the receptor level, such as some thyroid hormones and testosterone.
- For all these reasons, metabolism increases.
The doses of HCG normally used in treatment are around 1,000 times lower than those produced naturally by the woman during pregnancy and are only used for a maximum of 40 days.
There's a lot of talk about the supposed risk of thrombosis with the use of HCG, but I've indicated it to hundreds of patients without any reports of complications (and usually with good results). However, I always ask that patients seek competent nutritional support alongside their treatment and that they maintain good lifestyle habits, including regular physical exercise, preferably daily, with a diet of around 1000 Kcal per day.
My basic suggestion for the diet while using HCG (of course, to be evaluated, changed and monitored by a competent nutritionist) is: zero fats (even healthy ones, while using HCG), few carbohydrates (but they should be present, preferably with a low glycemic index and load, at every meal) and lots of protein, fiber and water, regularly.
*The idea is that the body, when looking for fats as the preferred fuel for its activities, doesn't find them in the diet and therefore draws on the patient's own reserves.
Anyone who says that only a restrictive diet can lose weight with the use of HCG either hasn't studied the subject properly or doesn't want to accept the physiological basis of the hormone's action. I suggest you read all the articles to understand: https://icaro.med.br/?s=hcg.
Is that clear? I don't want to be the “owner of the truth” here, but I think there are a lot of people talking garbage about HCG, showing ignorance of the subject and thus sowing “misinformation” and myths.
Have a good week!
