The basis for health is three things: WATER, FOOD and RESPIRATION. It's as simple as that. In other words, my medical advice to you is that if you really want to achieve, maintain and improve your health, start with this, which helps with both prevention and the best treatment (and often cure, when possible).
I'll explain: a car can't function without fuels: gasoline, oils, fluids. And if these are of poor quality, it can also fail to work or break down early, more often and with more damage. Something very similar happens in the human body: in order to operate properly, withstand aggressions and repair itself, it needs many things, but the basics are water, nutrients from food and oxygen from inhaled air, in the right quantity, quality and regularity.
Trying to start taking care of your health by looking for the “right” supplement, medicine or treatment (apart from emergency situations) is “putting the cart before the horse”: there's a good chance that they'll have little or no effect and more side effects than positive ones.
I'm stressing this because unfortunately it seems that the majority of people, including health professionals, still don't seem to value this foundation: after all, it's not even given the importance it should be in the media, in conversations, in colleges or in offices...
It's a question of logic:
1 - In a day, we eat only a few times, drink water about 10 times but breathe tens of thousands of times: have you ever “realized” the importance of breathing properly on a regular basis? We all need to take more deep breaths throughout the day to improve oxygenation in the lungs.
2 - Water is the largest part of the human organism, including the brain, and without it no one absorbs nutrients properly and the blood doesn't even reach all parts of the body properly (more than 90% of the blood is water). Almost everyone takes in less water than they should and/or doesn't care about its quality and the result is the hundreds of symptoms and disorders caused or aggravated by this.
3 - Your body needs vitamins, minerals, fiber, enzymes, proteins, fats and carbohydrates to come from your diet, all of which are varied, sufficient and of good quality. Unfortunately, however, nowadays most people eat mostly nutrient-poor foods on a regular basis. Believe me, you need to get this right: icaro.med.br/alimentacao.
