Women - stay away from contraceptives
I've been warning you about the dangers of contraceptives, but perhaps now most of you believe me, since Época magazine has turned them into its cover story, entitled “Quando a Pílula Anticonceptcional É a Pior Escolha” (When the Contraceptive Pill Is the Worst Choice).
Contraceptives are all hormones, most of which are non-isomolecular (or bioidentical), i.e. they don't have the same chemical structure as the hormones produced by the body itself. Therefore, they cannot have the same effects on the body as hormones identical to those it produces would have! In short, what we see in practice is that the use of progestins in contraceptives in women:
- It inhibits the body's own production of progesterone.
- Replaces progesterone in receptors with progestin.
- It reduces the production of various hormones that would be derived from progesterone, such as testosterone, estradiol and even cortisol (it also reduces DHEA, which alone tries to compensate for the mess caused by the lack of progesterone and ends up exhausted: icaro.med.br/cholesterol-and-hormones-what-and-a-relation/).
As a result, women end up without vital progesterone, intoxicated by progestins (more and more of them) and lacking several important hormones. As a result, she develops a series of effects (many of which resemble “constant PMS” over time), such as problems with mental/emotional performance, mood, tiredness, thyroid malfunction, weight gain, bloating, poor circulation, low libido, difficulty gaining muscle mass, among others. There are hundreds of symptoms and illnesses caused or aggravated by the use of contraceptives!
And understand once and for all: there are no “weak contraceptives” that would theoretically do less harm. Nature is so wise that progesterone (your body's own) remains in the body for a maximum of 48 hours and is then inactivated/destroyed, allowing the body to control its action well. Progestins, on the other hand, can remain inside you for months, which is why their accumulation invariably leads to symptoms.
* From what I've been told, the Disease Industry pays bloggers and even “celebrities” to “speak well” of medicines, including contraceptives. Don't fall for this scam!
* Read the contraceptive leaflet carefully and see if you still want to take it.
* Contraceptives are hormones. Understand how hormones should be used: http://icaro.med.br/modulacao-hormonal.
* Victims of contraceptives. United for Life https://www.facebook.com/vitimasdeanticoncepcionais - access this community and read/watch hundreds of testimonies that reveal the uncomfortable truth that the Época magazine article has only “begun” to uncover.
* Do you really need to use them? If so, I suggest concomitant replacement of the various hormones whose levels are impaired by the use of contraceptives, or you will soon begin to show signs, symptoms and even illnesses.
* Many effects of contraceptives only appear in the medium and long term... And that's where the danger lies, because many women, precisely because of this, don't associate these effects with contraceptives and consequently continue to take them, making the situation worse.
* Any contraceptive that releases hormones is likely to cause all of the above, whether it's the hormonal IUD/SIU (such as Mirena and the like), the “ring” (such as Nuvaring and the like), the implant (such as Implanon and the like) and, of course, the pills. It's not true that, in the case of the IUD or ring, the hormone only stays in place or has minimal passage into the bloodstream. Over time, the amount of hormone that gets into the blood and spreads throughout the body (including the brain, causing symptoms) is increasing. After all, how many creams applied to a specific spot end up affecting the whole body through the blood?
* Many doctors are “advised” not to order tests for various hormones for women who are using contraceptives, on the grounds that “the results will be low, but the pill will make up for it”, which is a lie. As I explained earlier, understand that the use of contraceptive hormones with progestins does not adequately replace the hormonal losses it causes, which only worsen with continued use.
* If you have any symptoms or illnesses and use contraceptives, understand that they can always be causing or aggravating your problems. This is especially true because they interfere with one of the most important things for your survival: the hormonal axis and its proper functioning.
* Women who suffer the most are those with poor lifestyle habits, as they face the double impact of these habits and the effects of hormonal imbalance caused by contraceptives, which tend to manifest themselves more severely. Understand why bad lifestyle habits make the body even weaker, facilitating the occurrence of adverse effects from medication: https://icaro.med.br/en/15habits/.
