Eggs: GOOD... but “can” be bad!

Eggs are an excellent food for the vast majority of people, very complete (in terms of nutrient profile), easily accessible and inexpensive.

Just understand that you should, whenever possible, prefer really organic eggs, if possible even real free-range eggs (better). Here's why:

Farm eggs, which are widely and commercially available, can have almost 10 times more omega-6 than they should, thus becoming a potent pro-inflammatory agent (yes, it increases inflammation) for the body: this is because the hens' unnatural diet leads to this! Far less suffering for the animals to produce the eggs (which are “left over” by far the freer and more natural the animal husbandry).

Less (or no) use of medicines, including antibiotics (which are widely used in “conventional” egg production, since animals in confinement get sick much more often).
