VIDEO 11 - Do you know which hormones you should pay the most attention to?

“Human beings can go for weeks without eating, days without drinking water, but only minutes without breathing.”.
Reflect with me:
If you've been lost in the desert for days, without water and, precisely because of this, you already have disorders and symptoms of dehydration: when you find water, are you going to worry about its quality and take it only after analyzing its quality or immediately quench your thirst?
Well, I'm sure it won't take you a second: after all, you're already thirsty and suffering for it. The water being unfit for consumption is a possibility and possibly, if it is, the negative effects of this will come, if they do, later.
In other words, no one in their right mind, especially in an emergency situation, would stop using something that their body needs because of the “chance”, often even remote, that it will do harm in the future.
This is exactly what happens with hormones:
Almost every day I see men and women, especially women, with symptoms and even illnesses that are clearly caused or aggravated by hormonal disorders, especially deficiencies, but who have not had their hormonal balance properly assessed and treated. This is because many of their health professionals believe in the myth that “hormones always cause cancer”, and so the patient is left to suffer for years, “surviving”, with compromised quality of life, productivity and well-being.
Would you like a more concrete example? Imagine a patient who has had breast cancer. We know that cancer is a multifactorial disease and that it is most commonly caused by bad lifestyle habits or an unfavorable environment. However, the most conventional treatment often involves blocking the patient on hormones to reduce her estradiol levels for years. The problem is that most of the other cells in this woman's body also depended on oestradiol to maintain health and proper functioning. Now, in order to reduce the possibility of the cancer returning or worsening, they are deprived of it. The result is that the patient may never get cancer again, but she will live with dozens of symptoms and even illnesses caused by the lack of hormones in various other tissues of the body. Was it worth it? Think about it and tell me...
The question is quite simple: because of the possibility of someone becoming ill from the use of a hormone, should this person be deprived of the great chance of getting better from its use, when the clinic and exams strongly point to the need for this use?
